Product Description The SEBO Felix goes from 90° vertical and 180° horizontal with a height of less than six inches. With a vacuum this flat and flexible, you can reach underneath the bed and other furniture. And the Felix's adjustable turning swivel neck allows audacious maneuverability, allowing you to clean in areas that were previously inaccessible Big and small, left and right hands can grip this ergonomically shaped handle the same firm way. While vacuuming with the integrated hose handle, you can easily switch the SEBO FELIX to your other hand. And at less than 10 lbs., the SEBO Felix is comfortable either way. Just a simple click and the telescopic tube fits to every body-height in an ergonomic manner. Set the handle tube in the correct position with just a lift of the latch.

never looked back November 7, 2009 Michael Mccrory (Muncie, In USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
My husband and I debated a long time over a vacuum cleaner. We have a hard house to vacuum: hard wood floors with rugs, 2 kids, a dog, and a cat. He is a professional cleaner and we have borrowed his boss's Sebo for over a year. The boss's professional Sebo vacuum was a good vacuum, but I cannot imagine a better vacuum than the Felix! Here's why:
- I kept having this problem using the regular Sebo with bits of things shooting back at my feet when vacuuming my wood floors. The Felix solves this by having a button that turns off the roller brush. I am now able to vacuum pet hair, kitty litter, and the bits of who-knows-what with no problem! Turning on the brush gets all the pet hair out of my rugs.
- The adjustable suction is great and I have used it more than I even thought I would. It's especially great for use on thin rugs and at corners of rugs so that they aren't sucked up into the vacuum.
- The thing is QUIET! I often talk on the phone WHILE VACUUMING.
- I love the cut-out head shape that easily glides under my cabinets. The head is also slim enough to fit under my dining room chairs.
- They are not lying when they say it's fun. I know it's nerdy, but it's true. I love reaching for the vacuum and have not touched a broom since I bought the Felix.
- The hose comes out of the vacuum to get hard-to-reach areas without having to push any buttons. That, plus the adjustable suction, means I can vacuum pet hair out of a mess of cords without any problem of sucking things into the vacuum. The nozzle is significantly shorter on the Felix than on other models, but that can be solved by using the longer nozzle attachment fits onto the cleaner. I almost never feel the need to reach for the attachment, though.
I could go on. Really. This was an expensive buy for us, but I have not regretted it one bit. Go on. Buy it. You'll like it. I'm not paid to say this.
Great Vacuum from a picky buyer July 24, 2009 Julio C. Alvarado (Austin TX) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Great vacuum, we have killed 4 vacuums in the span of 3 years. We don't have a cat, but we do have a pug, and he sheds allot. Maybe not as much as long haired dogs, but it is noticable. Let me break down the review so people will have some more info. First of all we have owned 2 Eureka's, 1 Dyson, 1 Roomba, and Dirt Devil.
The Dirt Devil lasted about 3 months before i started replacing belts and filters, it was very troublsome, and sometimes decided even with an empty bag that it woulldnt suck as much as it should up.
The Roomba is a great vacuum for touch up, and while your not home, not very practicle on cleaning days when you want to just vacuum the living room on the spot, or any other room for that matter. The container is too small, and i dont believe the one we had contained any sort of filtration.
The Dyson was all hype, worked great for about 6 months, but the bagless deal is crap, and regardless of the advertisment it does loose suction. We ended up selling it on craiglist becuase i didnt like it at all.
The Eureka that was had was "The Boss", and it was great, for about a year. There was always a funny smell to it, but it had great suction and bags were relativly inexpensive. I hated how big and bulky it was, since we have a small apartment, but it did a good job for a while. It does have an annoying feature, when you vacuum the hose does not stay in its holder and keeps flopping out and makes it really annoying to use. But of the rest, and for the price that was the best one. Well a year later into our second one and we have the same problems as the first one, plus its big and bulky, and i dont like it, my wife dosnt like it because it is just heavy enough she dosnt want anything to do with it. So we started our search.
Sebo Felix Pros-
Excelent suction, does a great job, no problems with that at all, the suction isnt really lost even when the bag is full, a 1300 watt motor is a great friend to have
Full Bag Indicator light- not that big of a deal, but it does come in handy, and is a nice feature. Maks it great to know when the bag is full without having to actually look into the bag
Adjustable RPM speed- Not a big selling point for me because i just leave it on the hightest setting to vacuum my carpet and non carpet areas, but for people with delicate throw rugs, or nice tile it is great
Swivel Neck- The neck swivels, and makes it easier to manuver
Brush control- the ability to turn the brush off when you are not vacuuming carpets, like the kitchen, is great. Plus it has a self stop clutch mechanism that if you accientally suck up a sock or something it shuts the brush off so you dont tangle it up in the brush, and you can just pull the item right out. Great design and functionality.
Light and compact- easily lighter than the eureka and dyson, we live in a small apartment and it can be stored anywere
Cheap replacable parts- The bags at $2, the brush is $20 if you have to replace the brush. The inside filter is $25 and the exhaust filter is $35, those last for a long time about 20-32 bag changes.
Sebo Felix Cons-
Pricy- at $549 it was the priciest vacuum i was considering, but after having laid almost as much down for a dyson that was crap i was still skeptical. The price was a big problem for me as money is tight.
Not great for above floor vacuuming- It is not small enough or light weight enough for easy above floor vacuuming, luckily i do not have this problem in my 1 BDR single floor apt, but it is something to consider if you do.
Price- Again i cannot stress enough how much price played a part in my decision to buy it, or actually to almost not buy it.
In the end it was about spending more money in 3 years on technically 5 vacuums, then this one would cost if it last 3 years, we are on the way and it looks like i got a winner. The vacuum is still going strong, the warrenty is great, 5 year on parts (motor and belt included) and one year on labor. My vacuum store is authorized to do repairs and they are fairly inexpensive. Cost to maintain is very low and it does the job. Thats right people a vacuum that actually dose what it says and will last a while. That was value in my eyes, and so far i am nothing buy happy about having bought this thing, it is great and if your on the fence i suggest you get one. At least go to your local salesman and try one out.
Made in Germany, like Mercedes but without the expense. April 14, 2009 MarleyCat (Sydney, Australia) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Excellent, excellent, excellent.
Vaccuum with this to make your carpets look like new.
Sucks all the dirt from everything, super easy to maneuver around corners, long power cord, bags last for months and hospital grade HEPA filter system means no dust in the air.
However there are noticable differences from Sebo X series-
Easier to steer and feels lighter.
Twin motors- removable head so better for cars and hard to reach places.
No auto height adjustment for cleaning head, you have to bend down for manual control.
Shorter plastic hand nozzle, you have to bend further to reach skirting.
Generates heat from chequered filter area, whereas the X series body is fully moulded plastic.
Sebo vaccuum cleaners would be perfect if the very best elements from all their models were in one vaccuum cleaner.
Until then these are simply the strongest, most durable, well engineered cleaners with the best filters in domestic/ commerical appliances available.
the absolute best vacuum! November 19, 2008 Mary L. Hill (Buffalo, NY) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have two cats, one with very long white hair. Her hair destroyed a Hoover that was supposed to be perfect for cat hair. So I did a lot of research for the perfect vacuum for someone who lives on the second floor but has to be able to vacuum carpeted steps, has a long haired cat, and hates to vacuum. I found the Sebo Felix. I got lucky and was able to buy a floor model at a pretty low price from a local dealer. And I have been vacuuming ever since. I absolutely love this machine. Excellent design, very easy to handle, and it devours that cat hair. Buy one! Then buy another for your best friend!

I too love my Sebo for all the new reasons listed by Happy New Mom. I have 3 Siberian Huskies and it works great. It is really easy to use and I have had it for over a year now. The joy of it has not worn off.
