 Needs better traction September 27, 2009

It charges fine, but when used on wood floors it rarely sticks in one spot. When Roomba tries to "mount" it, the thing slides around and Roomba gets all confused. I had to double up some duct tape and put on the bottom of it so it would stay in one spot.

Product was a gift for my son, and he loves it. It works great, and it keeps his floors clean so he doesn't have to!!

This product does not fully work with the Roomba 400 base model. It merely acts as a charging station that you manually have to set the Roomba 400 on. The Roomba 400 does not have the technology or cabability to find and return to the Home Base, nor does it have a button to direct it to do so. Do not buy this product to go along with a Roomba 400. Use the plug-in charger that comes with it instead.

after I purchased this little accessory, I decided to return it without using it. It really was an extra that I didn't need and also I don't really have a place to park it.
