Good vacuum but broke after 2 months January 3, 2009 Good vacuum, light, great for a small NYC apt. But the damn thing stopped working after 2 months. Specifically, the fan that causes the suction burned out. Not happy!
Not a good choice January 3, 2009 Vacuum picks up hair and dirt very well, but never operates for more than 3 minutes at a time before overheating. Takes many hours after overheating before being able to operate again. Unbelievably poor design. A waste of money.
Totally impressed December 31, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The first time I used this little vac I was highly impressed (and not a little disgusted) at the amount of dust, dirt, and junk it got out of my carpet. It works incredibly well on carpet, wood, and tile. The one important thing to remember is to clean out the filter often, ideally after every use. I find I need to take it outside to shake off the dust after I empty the larger matter.
Other reviewers mentioned that it overheats, and this is true. I found that I can give my 1 bedroom apartment a quick once over, or do half thoroughly before I need to give it a rest. I don't find this to be a big issue. I highly recommend this!
Quick, Light and Effortless!! December 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this stick vacuum for my hardwood floors. It does a great job and can be used without a beater bar so no scratching the finish of the floors. It is quick and handy to use on a daily basis and makes my job easy. It's so much better than having to drag out a big, cumbersome vacuum. I rate this stick vacuum 5 stars and don't think you'll regret it if you purchase it!
Good vacuum - very versatile, but could be a bit more powerful December 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was looking for a light-weight vacuum that I could use on hard surfaces and carpets. This one seemed like the perfect blend - especially with the power nozzle. At first, it seemed to work great. Then, I bought a new wool carpet and tried to use this vacuum on it. The thick wool carpet was too much for the vacuum to handle. It clogged the vacuum in about 3 minutes.
Bottom line - is that the vacuum is pretty good in almost every situation - except for really thick carpets that shed a lot. For those applications, I still need to pull out my canister vacuum. Having said that - I still like this vacuum, since it performs most duties pretty well. I do kind of wish that the cord was longer than 20 ft. But, I prefer having a cord as opposed to a rechargeable battery that eventually dies out.
