I bought this so I wouldn't have to vacuum every day - we have three cats and the hair they leave around is amazing, not to mention the litter that gets tracked up from the basement.
The handle is a bit loose, like other commenters have mentioned, but it works like a charm and hangs flat in my cupboard next to the vacuum. I am always amazed at how much cat fur it picks up!!

I sure wish I had read these reviews before I purchased the Bissell Natural Sweeper. It was an impulse buy and one I regret. I have hardwood floors and the sweeper mostly moves the crumbs around rather than picking them up. It works fairly good on the area rug. The handle is the main issue. It is constantly coming apart. In a fit I glued all the pieces together with Elmer's, but even that won't keep it together. I sure wish I had saved the box and the receipt. For $25 I expect more.

I love my new Bissel carpet/floor brush sweeper. It does a good job of picking up the cat hairs, and is so light that I'm happy to use it every day or every other day - so much easier than lugging out the vacuum cleaner!

An earlier reviewer mentioned the importance of firmly putting the pieces of the handle together: I tapped them together with a rubber hammer and everything is solid and works well. I couldn't be happier with it!
